Have you received an invite to get your NHS Health Check Online?
We are currently helping NHS England pilot this new services that aims to help increase the uptake of NHS Health Checks. We will still be offering face to face health checks for patients who prefer to receive their care in person, or don’t have the equipment or are unsure about taking their own blood sample.
The NHS Health Check is for people aged 40-74 and helps you understand how healthy your heart is and what you can do to reduce your chance of having a heart attack or stroke.
To make the service more convenient and flexible, the NHS Health Check Online has been developed which can be completed through the NHS App, without a GP appointment. Our practice is participating in piloting this service, along with GP practices in two other local authorities in England, so you may receive an invitation asking you to complete this and we encourage you to do so.
